STATEMENT
I refuse to contribute to the relentless sensory flood of everyday life.
For me, painting is a way to slow down—to pause, breathe, and listen.
A constant bombardment of striking, fragmented, and chaotic images lures us into distraction.
This creates a collective hypnosis that numbs us, keeping us on the surface of existence.
My work seeks to disrupt this flow.
It does not narrate; it reveals nothingness in all its depth and complexity.
I paint the passage of time, the texture of silence, and the illusion of reality.
Deep blacks, resonant lights, and colors imbued with breath demand to be seen in person.
I offer a physical experience of emptiness.
Each painting invites a state of mindful observation, like an open-eyed Vipassanā meditation.
My recent works (Shintai) do not tell a story—they embody the raw vibration of color.
Its purity makes the intangible momentarily graspable.
